About Us
Chris Kranz - Founder
-
My name is Chris Kranz, I've been doing technical sales on and off for 15+ years now. I've also spent time being on the end-user (customer) side of the table, running projects and having to work with vendors. If you want to see my full work history / credentials, you can look me up on LinkedIn or see my portfolio site.
- But my point is, I've experienced the pain of technical sales, both doing it and receiving it. I've run countless PoCs and PoVs, and I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've seen the salespeople who are just trying to hit their numbers, and I've seen the ones who are genuinely trying to help their customers. I've seen the sales engineers who are just trying to get through the day, and I've seen the ones who are passionate about their products and their customers. I've seen the customers who are just trying to get the best deal, and I've seen the ones who are genuinely trying to solve a problem.
- I've created internal systems that helped my employer get better at these things in the past. So after being made redundant in 2023, I decided to take the plunge and try to make a business out of it. I realised a few years ago as I moved into Leadership and Enablement that I really love watching people succeed, and I loved seeing my team make club or get promotions. I want to help you do that too.
Proof of Value
-
Whether you call it a Proof of Concept, Proof of Value, Test Plan, or something else entirely, the end goal is generally the same: You want to show your customer that your product is capable of meeting all those technical and business challenges that has been discussed in the sales process so far.
- Building custom and bespoke POVs is time consuming and often repetitive. So I built this. I want to enable you to all execute fantastic PoV engagements with your clients. This micro-SaaS product is designed to share my experiences and guide you to build better PoCs and PoVs. I want you to achieve better outcomes for your customers, your sales team, and yourself.
Polyvalent
- Polyvalent is the UK business that runs this micro-SaaS and a few other projects. "Poly" meaning to have multiple or many of something, "Valent" meaning different forms or functions. I (Chris Kranz) does some consultancy to pay the bills, and also build a few different tools to help solve problems that he has encountered through my career. Polyvalent Ltd. is the UK based company that runs all these operations. You are welcome to reach out to me on LinkedIn if you are interested in taking on my consultancy services or just sharing some of my experience.
Other Polyvalent Projects
Breaking Out of This
- An employee advocacy platform that helps marketing folks get messages
out to their internal ambassadors and advocates, who can then customise
and share this on their own network. The focus here is customising
messages into a users own personal voice, and not having a ream of "me
too" messages flooding LinkedIn.
Fabulist
- A simple story telling application. It allows for a catalogue of stories
to be customised for your own children / loved ones, or it plugs into AI
for guided story / verse generation.
